Description
We are AFC Islington, an 11 a-side team playing regular Sunday games on Hackney Marshes.
We are looking for new players for the upcoming 2026-27 season. All positions welcome, apart from goalkeeper.
We play in the Camden Sunday Football League, a long-running and very well organised men's league that is FA affiliated. The season runs September to May, with games every Sunday.
The standard of play is - well, Sunday league football. Players with recent 11 a-side experience are preferred, but if you played in the past, or you currently play smaller-scale football and fancy a go, come and try it out.
We are a friendly team and match-day usually extends to the local pub after a game.
