Vintage Rogers LS3/5A 15 Ohm BBC Monitor Loudspeakers –

Barnet, London

£1,300

Description

For sale is a vintage matched pair of Rogers LS3/5A Monitor Loudspeakers, manufactured by Swisstone Electronics Ltd under licence from the British Broadcasting Corporation.
These are the highly respected 15 Ohm Rogers LS3/5A BBC monitor loudspeakers, serial numbers S019361A and S019361B. The rear labels confirm:
Model: Rogers LS3/5A Monitor Loudspeaker
Impedance: 15 Ohms
Power Handling: 25 watts speech & music
Manufacturer: Swisstone Electronics Ltd, London
BBC licensed specification

Important note: these speakers are listed as having modified crossovers. Because of this, they are being sold honestly as a vintage pair with crossover modification history. This may interest buyers who want to inspect, service, restore to original specification, or use them as-is.
These Rogers LS3/5A speakers are collectable British studio monitors and are especially desirable among BBC monitor, vintage hi-fi and nearfield loudspeaker enthusiasts.

Please note: the crossovers have been modified, so these are not being sold as fully original internally.
