Description
Beautiful antique Victorian walnut serpentine sofa with elegant carved scroll arms and turned front legs.
A lovely quality piece with a very graceful shape that would make a stunning statement after reupholstery. The walnut frame has a lovely warm colour and attractive figuring.
Currently upholstered in a pale blue damask fabric. The upholstery is usable but does have wear, including a worn patch and tear to the centre of the seat, plus a stain. There are also a couple of small veneer losses/chips to the top edge of the back frame (see photos). The frame appears solid overall.
Perfect restoration or reupholstery project.
