Female Support Worker needed york Evenings

Description

I am looking for a fun and energetic female support worker between the ages of 16-45 for social visits, cooking meals, laundry, shopping and domestic tasks. I also require medication to be administered.

I am visually impaired registered blind due to damage of the Optic nerve. I suffer with Anxiety and mild learning difficulties but I do not let these things get in the way of living life to the full.

I do like to travel in West Yorkshire, so a car driver is preferred but not essential as I do have a bus pass which entitles a companion to travel for free on busses and on the trains in west Yorkshire.

I do require for my PAs to link arms to guide so the applicant must be comfortable with that.

I like to play games like UNO and Jenga, I enjoy Bouldering and going for walks and and I also like listening to aircrafts at the airports. I do like to visit the Casino, Crich Tramway museum and The National Railway Museum. I often raise money for charity by doing things like bungee jumping. I also enjoy telephone befriending, which is phoning vulnerable people for charity.

I live I the dringhouses area of York.

Person to be on the DBS update Service and required for hours between 7-9pm or 5-9pm On a job share service.

Could be required for extra holiday/sickness cover etc.
