Support is provided 7 days a week across daytime and evening hours.
Typical shifts are:
• Morning: 08:00 – 15:00
• Evening: 15:00 – 22:00
You will work 5 shifts a week, which includes evening and weekend working on a fair rolling rota basis, with weekends shared equally across the team.
Hourly pay rate:
£15 per hour

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and proactive Personal Assistants/Support Workers to join a supportive home-based team supporting a young autistic man in Uckfield.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of an intelligent and engaging young man with autism, associated learning difficulties, and global developmental delay. He is pre-verbal and communicates using an AAC device, so patience, consistency, and a willingness to learn communication strategies are essential.
No prior care experience is required — full training and ongoing support will be provided.
This role requires someone who can work both independently and as part of a close-knit support team alongside family carers and other Personal Assistants.

Duties include:
- Communication using an AAC device
- Building independence and daily living skills
- Emotional regulation and structured routines
- Community access and social activities
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Personal care support
- Supporting hobbies, games, walks, swimming, shopping, libraries, cafés, and more
- Following structured behavioural and eating protocols
- Creating a calm, safe, and engaging environment
Candidate qualities:
