I’ve owned this car since February 2009, and replaced it sooner than intended when a more recent model became available last November, which was shortly after this car had been serviced and its MOT issued. At that time, I wasn’t convinced that the replacement, a 1.6 litre Octavia Estate would be powerful enough to pull a trailer, so I’ve kept this one off-road since then for backup in case I felt the need to revert to it.

Unfortunately, this means that the MOT has now expired, so I’ve reduced the price to account for that, although I don’t anticipate any significant problems with the next MOT, as the car has covered less than 800 miles since it was last tested.

The car has been regularly serviced (at least once a year, but normally twice per year) throughout the time I’ve owned it. I routinely monitor fuel consumption at every fill-up, and in the last 12 months of use, the car averaged over 60mpg, with a high of 64.42mpg and a low of 50.20mpg (with trailer).
