Bespoke Ash and Douglas fir Cabin/Platform Bed

Here is my much loved bespoke Ash and Douglas cabin bed, selling as I want more space in my room :(
It’s beautifully built by a skilled carpenter friend, about 7 years ago, with slats for airflow and strength. Its mostly Douglas fir, with Ash poles and rails. It has a very useful bedside table running the outside perimeter of the bed.
We left the bark on the ash for looks and something started eating it when it was green (not woodworm), it was only in the bark, which could be removed to leave nice patterns where they ate, or just get sanded. (See last slide) But doesn’t affect it structurally at all.
I used to stab the the sides with a knife 🤦‍♂️, also doesn’t affect it structurally at all. I will fill it and sand it if wanted before sale!
It fixes into the walls on the 2 faces as seen, and is at a 90 degree angle in the corner, it could be packed to fit other angles.
I can come and fit it for extra cost if not too far.

It’s a really cool bed with loads of life left in it. I’d love for someone else to love it as much as I do.
