Mid century sideboard / TV unit / record cabinet by Wrighton in rosewood

Description

Stylish mid century rosewood sideboard by Wrighton, made in Britain circa 1960s, this piece is from their more luxurious range. The rosewood veneer has a particularly beautiful grain pattern, which runs uninterrupt accorss both doors and the drawer fronts.

The top has a raised gallery edge, the three drawers, one for cutlery, and two cupboard sections. The left hand cabinetis suitable for records. The doors and drawers have metal pulls set in recessed wood squares. The tapering legs give a surprisingly light look to this quite large sideboard.

The whole sideboard has been refinished and varnished for protection. There are a few light marks on the front, but these don't really show unless looked across towards light. On the left hand very back corner there is a small damages area about 5 cm long and 1 cm deep. The drawers have been lined with mid century inspired wallpaper.
