So I used Claude to search for good contractors nearby which is how I found London House Doctor. Reached out to Zhoobin who then came over quite quickly to assess the type of work I wanted. In my case it was to replace my bathtub with a walk in shower tray. Zhoobin took some photos and measurements and then proceeded to send me options of what could be appropriate for my bathroom-what was really helpful given I don't know where to start with materials and such he WhatsApped me options of what could work well with my bathroom. From the shower door to the tiles that would blend with my current tiling. Once all the materials were ordered and price was fixed we set dates for work. Initially it was set for a 4 day job but it took 3 days to complete. This is partially thanks to Zhoobins colleague Reza who was great he turned up at 8ish every morning to do the work and on a few days stayed past 5 to complete the work well. He did the bulk under Zhoobins instruction but Zhoobin helped with more complex parts of the work. Overall they were super considerate and thoughtful asking my input where needed during the work as is often needed on such jobs. I know Zhoobin is booked up all summer but am likely going to ask him to help me for work again and I have already recommended him to a neighbour. On top of being a great contractor and trades person he's a good human, with a good sense of humour that put me at ease from the moment we first made contact 😀.
