JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Security Consultant to spearhead the risk management, security planning, and operational deployment for our premier Bollywood night events, concerts, and late-night high-profile parties across the UK. Bollywood night events feature unique dynamics, including high-capacity crowds, prominent VIP/VVIP high-profile guests, international touring artists, and intense late-night club environments. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between regulatory compliance and cultural sensitivity. You will design and audit robust security frameworks that ensure strict crowd management, prevent bottlenecks, and guarantee artist safety while maintaining an upscale, vibrant guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Risk Mitigation

- Execute detailed risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and site audits for high-capacity UK nightlife and concert venues.

- Design bespoke crowd control blueprints tailored specifically to the high-energy flow of Bollywood event attendees to actively prevent crushes or bottlenecks.

- Integrate Counter-Terrorism measures (Martyn’s Law compliance) and Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) planning where applicable for large-scale venues.

2. VIP & Artist Protection Coordination

- Serve as the main point of contact for external Close Protection Teams (CPOs) accompanying high-profile Bollywood celebrities, influencers, and international DJs.

- Formulate Security Advance Party (SAP) procedures, including securing backstage access controls, exclusive VIP zones, and discrete entry/exit routing.

3. Compliance & Stakeholder Liaison

- Ensure all security blueprints rigidly align with UK Health, Safety, and Local Authority Licensing laws, specifically regarding venue capacity and late-night alcohol licensing.

- Liaise confidently with Local Councils, Metropolitan and regional police forces, emergency services, and venue owners to secure pre-event approvals.

4. Operational Oversight & Execution

- Direct and audit third-party security vendors, Door Supervisors, and Event Stewards.

- Establish protocols for rigorous ingress operations, including ticket authenticity checks, biometric/bag screening, and prohibited item confiscation.

- Monitor live event operations, lead incident-response teams during flashpoints, and handle emergency evacuations or crowd-di spersal strategies calmly.

5. Experience & Requirements

- Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (SIA Close Protection Licence preferred).

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in senior event safety, crowd management, or managing late-night hospitality venues in the UK.

- Deep understanding of UK licensing laws, event health & safety rules, and local authority protocols.

- Direct experience or a strong understanding of Bollywood entertainment culture, high-net-worth South Asian demographics, and related event dynamics.

- Exceptional verbal de-escalation, emergency incident leadership, and high-pressure decision-making.

- Mandatory availability for late nights, weekends, and national travel across major UK event hubs.

- Must be able to pass our extensive background check and not just rely on SIA / DBS.
