Coordinate correspondence, documentation and information flow between the Youth Justice Team, partner agencies, families and other stakeholders. Provide administrative support for meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking and distributing documentation where required. Process purchase orders, monitor invoices and support other finance-related administrative tasks in line with organisational procedures. Assist with the management of team mailboxes, telephone enquiries and general correspondence. Prepare reports, spreadsheets and other documents as required. Support compliance with data protection, information governance and record-keeping requirements. Provide general administrative support to managers and practitioners within the service.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

Previous experience in an administrative or business support role. Experience maintaining records and databases with a high level of accuracy. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience coordinating information and communications across multiple stakeholders. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Experience undertaking financial administration tasks such as raising purchase orders, processing invoices or monitoring expenditure. Desirable

Experience working within local government, social care, youth justice, education, health or a related public sector environment. Experience using case management systems. Knowledge of data protection and information governance requirements. Experience supporting multi-agency teams. Personal Attributes

Detail-oriented and methodical. Able to work independently and use initiative. Collaborative and customer-focused. Resilient and adaptable in a busy service environment. Committed to delivering high-quality support services. Ideal Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in children's services, youth justice, safeguarding, probation, education or other multi-agency environments where accurate record keeping, confidentiality and effective stakeholder coordination are critical.
