Settlements Administrator: Peterborough: up to GBP31000: a hybrid job with progression plans JOB TITLE: Settlements Administrator
JOB LOCATION: Peterborough
JOB TYPE: Permanent
JOB SALARY: up to GBP31000 if you've worked in a similar role before
JOB WORKING HOURS: 8am to 4pm with 1 hour for lunch, Monday to Friday
JOB WORKING ARRANGEMENTS: 4 days per week in the office, dropping to 3 days in the office once you've passed your probation

Your new role
Your job will be to ensure the accurate and timely settlement of trades. You'll manage trade matching, resolve settlement issues, and identify risks within a fast-paced financial environment. This position involves daily interaction with clients, custodians and internal stakeholders, as well as investigating trade discrepancies and implementing process improvements to enhance automation. You'll work to strict deadlines, meet regulatory standards and contribute to delivering exceptional client service.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in settlements, trade processing, trade monitoring, AML, KYC or banking/investment reconciliations etc.Strong knowledge of systems and trade processing.A background in financial services, wealth management or similarA good understanding of investment operations and financial instruments.Advanced user of Excel spreadsheets (including look-ups; macros would be an advantage).Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work under pressure.Ideally, industry qualifications such as CISI Investment Operations Certificate or a relevant degree (or working towards these).
