Description

We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in Manchester that is looking to appoint an experienced and organised School Administrator. This is a key role in the school office, where you will provide professional administrative support and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations.

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, supporting communication, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with a wide range of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities Provide a professional and friendly first point of contact for all enquiries.

Manage telephone, email, and face-to-face communication effectively.

Maintain accurate pupil records and update school systems.

Assist with organising meetings, events, and school activities.

Carry out general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

Support financial administration where required.

Work closely with the leadership team and wider staff to ensure smooth school operations.

Requirements Previous experience in a school office environment is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school systems (e.g., SIMS/CPOMS desirable).

Excellent organisation and time-management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
