Job Title: Quality Coordinator

Location: Crewkerne, Somerset

Salary: GBP30,(Apply online only) per annum

Full-Time Perm - 40 hours per week

My client in Crewkerne is looking for a Quality Coordintor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for Quality.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Quality, the Quality Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the effective operation and administration of the Quality Management System (QMS). This is a highly administrative and coordination-focused role, with responsibility for maintaining quality records, processes and data, while working closely with internal teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS)

Maintain and control QMS documentation in line with ISO 9001:2015 standardsEnsure records are accurate, up to date and correctly filed Internal Audits

Support the planning and coordination of internal auditsAssist with audit delivery and ensure compliance with QMS requirements Goods Inwards Quality

Manage administrative aspects of goods-in quality processesReview Certificates of Conformance (CoC), documentation and traceability recordsSupport inspection activities where required Calibration System Administration

Coordinate calibration schedules and maintain accurate equipment recordsEnsure all measurement and test equipment is compliant and audit-readyMonitor calibration status and escalate any risks or overdue items Customer Returns & Non-Conformances

Provide administrative support for returns and non-conformance processesTrack issues, actions and outcomes accurately ISIRs & Part Qualification

Support documentation and coordination of ISIR and part qualification activitiesMaintain accurate records and approvals Quality Metrics & Continuous Improvement

Collate and report on KPIs and quality metricsMaintain quality data, reports and action logsSupport continuous improvement initiatives Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential:

Strong administrative and organisational skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyConfident IT skills, particularly Microsoft ExcelExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to manage multiple tasks and maintain structured recordsComfortable working within defined processes and supporting senior quality staff Desirable:

Experience working within a Quality Management SystemKnowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standardsBackground in a manufacturing or engineering environmentExposure to audits, calibration systems or quality reporting Development & Progression:

This role offers structured development under the guidance of the Head of Quality, with increasing responsibility as training and competency grow.
