Description

The Project Document Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining all project-related documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. They support the project team by implementing document control processes and systems that facilitate efficient information flow throughout the project lifecycle.

Client Details

My Client based in Guildford make green gas from farm waste and crops. They run special plants that turn this waste into clean energy called biomethane, which can be used for heating, cooking, or powering vehicles.

Description

· In line with project and organisational standards, register, file, track, and archive incoming and outgoing documents, including drawings, specifications, correspondence, and reports.

· Develop and maintain a document transmittal system for all correspondence.

· Co-ordinate with Business development, planning, and finance depts to ensure timely submission, review, and distribution of documents.

· Liaise directly with contractors and suppliers to review and control the flow of project documentation

· Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain version control and ensure up-to-date documentation is available

· Liaise with relevant parties by organising and indexing records in a traceable format.

· Develop and Manage project control system using the SharePoint platform,

· Provide training and guidance on document control systems as required.

Profile

· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

· Ideally but not essential, a proficiency in document management software (e.g., Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint).

· Familiarity with construction project workflows and terminology.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

· Experience of using MS Office Suite, especially SharePoint to a high standard

· Self-motivated and able to think creatively
