Conveyancing Administrator - Bedford - GBP24k - GBP25k

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Administrator to join our clients Bedford team. These roles play a crucial part of the team. Supporting our clients Case Handlers and Assistant Case Handlers in managing property transactions efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities of both roles:

Assist Case Handlers in preparing legal documents, including contracts, Transfers and completion statements.Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates on transaction progress.Manage administrative tasks, such as file maintenance, chasing third parties for information and document filing.File opening: entering details accurately onto the case management system, obtaining all documents and information from clients to ensure the file is ready to be handed over to the Case Handler.Assist in coordinating property exchanges and completions, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and paperwork is completed accurately.Conduct due diligence checks on properties, including verifying ownership, checking for restrictions or easements, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the conveyancing process.Provide general support to the conveyancing team as required.Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal environment is preferred but not essential.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards.
