I am a Painter and Decorator and Handyman. I provide an honest, reliable, friendly service at reasonable rates.
I consider all types of jobs large or small and am happy to provide quotes free of charge.
Throughout my adult life I have renovated many of my own properties along with friends and families properties.
I chose to pursue this as a career as I found that first and foremost I enjoy the work and meeting people. I like the challenge of different jobs which are often quite varied.
I believe in being honest with people and giving them a great end result. I have found that my clients are happy with my work and they become regular clients and will recommend me to other people who need my services.

Darren is a star - punctual, thorough and a perfectionist - in a good way! Great attention to detail. He’s knowledgeable about the histories and construction of Victorian buildings, so sensitive to the visual aesthetics in his work. Highly recommend.

I’ve been using Darren from DJ Kent for the past six years, and I honestly wouldn’t go to anyone else. He’s an excellent handyman who always takes the time to understand exactly what I need and delivers great results every time. Darren has done painting, various home repairs, and even helped with our garden patio, all completed to a high standard. His rates are very reasonable, especially for the quality of work he provides. Most importantly, he’s reliable and shows up when he says he will — which hasn’t always been my experience with others in the past. Highly recommended.
