Do you from a hands–on marine background and looking to move into a customer focused commercial role?

Our client is a well established supplier to the marine industry and is seeking a Junior Technical Sales Executive to support their experienced technical sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical boating knowledge who enjoys building relationships and wants to develop a long–term career in technical sales.

Full product and technical training will be provided.

The RoleSupporting the senior technical sales team across Southern EnglandDeveloping new customer relationships and identifying business opportunitiesVisiting boat builders, boatyards, marine manufacturers and other marine customersProviding technical advice and product support to customersManaging customer relationships through regular face–to–face visitsRepresenting the business at key industry events and boat showsHome–based role with regular travel throughout the territoryOffice attendance required periodically depending on locationFrequent travel and occasional overnight stays as part of the roleAbout YouPractical experience within the marine industryBackground in areas such as:Boat buildingComposite manufacturingMarine coatings or paintBoat repair and restorationChandleryMarine engineeringOther hands–on marine technical rolesStrong communication and relationship–building skillsConfident meeting customers and representing a business professionallySelf–motivated and able to work independentlySales experience is beneficial but not essentialFull UK driving licenceCandidates should ideally be based within easy reach of the South Coast.
