Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Sales Manager with territory sales experience based just outside Bicester. The role is full time and permanent offering a salary of up to circa GBP40,000 with excellent commission opportunities. Working for a highly successful, growing family business who are a name in the logistics sector. Based in Bicester with regular visits with clients across the UK.
The main focus for the Sales Manager is to build long lasting relationships with businesses with strong growth potential.
Key Responsibilities for the Sales Manager:
Proactively, prospect and identify new B2B clientsFollow up/convert leadsTargeting medium to large manufacturers, retailers and online brandsIdentifying client pain points, providing bespoke tailored logistics solutions and pricing structuresCreating tender and contract documentation for clientsClient presentationsManage the 360 sales cycleWork closely with operations for smooth implementation and client satisfactionBuild long term client relationships for repeat business and account growthRegular visits to clients across the UK to win business, make presentations, tendersKey Skills for the Sales Manager:
Strong proven track record in sales - business development, account management, converting leadsExperience within logistics, home delivery would be an advantageExperience working independently in a field based roleKnowledge of the logistics, home delivery sector, pricing structures, competitorsBusiness development, prospecting, lead generationAccount management and contract negotiationTender preparation and contract writingExcellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levelsStrategic planning and proactive problem solving, able to build a solid pipelineHighly motivated, proactive, and willing to "get stuck in"Detail-oriented and thorough in approachAccountable, taking ownershipExcellent communicator, able to influence and inspire others through expertise and data-driven insightConfident relationship builder at all levels of a customer's organisationWhat's in it for you?
