About the Partnership Development Executive opportunity
JM&Co. is supporting our client, a specialist in premium event branding, in their search for a *** Partnership Development Executive ***. This organisation creates high-impact visual environments for major sporting events, delivering everything from large-scale signage to bespoke installations and full venue branding experiences. Their work features prominently at some of the most recognised sporting festivals and sporting calendar events.
This role will suit someone who enjoys the commercial side of business development but believes the best sales outcomes come from strong relationships, trust, and a genuine understanding of client needs. It is a growth-focused position, grounded in excellent customer experience rather than transactional selling.
The Partnership Development Executive job role
Commercial Growth and New Business Development
* Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities across sporting events, venues, and brand partners.
* Opening conversations, building rapport and positioning the business as a trusted branding partner.
* Developing a pipeline of opportunities through a combination of outreach, networking and referrals.
* Supporting revenue growth by converting enquiries into long-term, repeat client relationships.
Client development and ongoing account support
* Managing existing client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, and that expectations are exceeded.
* Preparing proposals, quotations and presentations that reflect client objectives and event requirements.
* Acting as a consistent point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through to delivery.
* Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring clear communication across internal teams and suppliers.
Industry presence and relationship building:
* Representing the business at sporting venues, trade shows and industry events.
* Building visibility within the sector and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
* Supporting pitches and client meetings through strong presentation, engagement and follow-up.
Partnership Development Executive – Experience and Skills:
* Experience in sales, account management, customer development or client-facing roles, ideally within events, branding, signage or a related environment.
* A natural relationship builder who is comfortable initiating conversations and developing trust over time.
* Commercially minded, with an understanding that great customer service is a key driver of repeat business and referrals.
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and confidence using CRM systems.
* Comfortable balancing proactive business development with hands-on client support.
* A genuine interest in live events and the sporting calendar, including cricket, boxing, darts, snooker and horse racing.
