Junior Account Manager – GBP25,000 – GBP27,000 per annum

We are Mantra Learning, the UK s leading Logistics learning and development organisation. We are an Ofsted grade 2 independent training provider who have specialised in providing training within the sector for over 56 years. The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.

Through our two key brands, The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy we help thousands of individuals each year to gain new skills. This enables our learners to obtain employment within the logistics sector and drives the long–term growth of the industry.

We work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Aldi, Wincanton and AO, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 2500 Large Goods Vehicle licences and 1,100 Forklift Truck licences each year. The organisation is dedicated to deliver interventions that develop the Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours to enable learners to thrive in life and work .

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Account Manager to join our friendly team. The position is full–time, working 37.5 hours a week based in Middleton, Greater Manchester. You will additionally be required to travel nationally.

Role

As a Junior Account Manager, your main role supports the Sales operations by helping manage clients, coordinate sales activities, analyse data for growth opportunities, and maintain accurate records to support reporting and forecasting.

Your duties will include but won t be limited to:

Industry horizon scanning: Ensure the sales team are on–top of key market/customer trends, growth opportunities events and competitor activity Enquiry triage and research: Support sales team to qualify and respond promptly to inbound new customer enquiries Sales Data Support: Update and monitor sales dashboards (CRM) and feed into management reporting and presentations Specific customer research: Prepare and communicate in–depth reports on existing and prospective customers to support sales team engagements Sales Content Preparation and Management: Create and customise proposals for specific customer engagements, and feed into broader marketing collateral and campaigns

Skills & Qualifications

Educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent Ability to create corporate standard PowerPoint and Written proposals

Experience

IT experience, including proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, LinkedIn and Web–based tools Proven experience of delivering customer–focused written work Experience of customer–facing role, and confident in engaging with new people Experience or understanding of the logistics, construction, retail or environmental sectors Understanding of HR/Learning & Development stakeholders within a business
