Area Sales Manager

Classic Area Sales role managing existing accounts & generating new business on an established sales territory covering the North of England & Scotland and living on the M62 corridor.

Working for a market leading British manufacturer of packaging machinery & associated flexible packaging consumables.

BASIC SALARY: circa GBP50,000 Base

BENEFITS: Bonus and Commission for an OTE of circa GBP75,000 + Choice of Company Car + 8% Pension and Private Healthcare

LOCATION: Home based and covering the North of England & Scotland you will be living on the M62 corridor

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool,Hull, Newcastle, Huddersfield

JOB DESCRIPTION: A classic area sales role managing an established and successful territory and a 50/50 split of account management and new business selling packaging machinery and associated flexible packaging consumables to component manufacturers & the E–commerce market as well as contract packers & distributors.

Full technical support & service back up.

Full Product training will be provided.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You MUST have a proven track record in field sales and are sales management with specific previous experience of selling capital equipment or a technical solution to the manufacturing market.

Ideally you will have sold to component manufacturers.

You will be willing and able to generate new business.

Any experience of selling to the E–commerce market would be advantageous.
