These Bear 650s are, for Royal Enfield, a bigger capacity parallel twin with distictive Scrambler-esqe styling. The motor offers Bosch Electronic Fuel Injection (EFi) with a single piece forged crankshaft and 270 degree firing order. The resultant 47 bhp ensures ample performance with a top speed of around 100 mph, whilst always emitting a suitably traditional exhaust rasp

Wheels are 19″ at the front and 17″ at the rear shod with chunky 100 /90-19 140/80-17 respectively. Laced wire spoke rimes feature along with twin rear coilover shocks and matt black cyling head covers, cases and exhaust

Showa USD big piston forks, with a Showa Twin Tube rear shock unit, offer long distance travel at both ends and take care of the damping, whilst large 320mm and 270mm front/rear discs offering powerful braking capacity

Modern concessions are ABS braking, digital engine electronics and a 6 speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch

It all just looks superb, and importantly these little bikes really are an absolote hoot to ride

These bikes offer an extremely fine way to cruise about on a lovely summers day. A fabulous old skool scrambler, reminiscent of a previous age. Very stylish, and will always raise smiles from onlookers thanks to it’s period look and character

Sargent of Copthorne for 17 years, building a solid reputation, through 1000s of sales, for supplying high quality vehicles, with an honest and dependable approach. In May 2011, we relocated from our native Copthorne to the beautiful rural countryside in the heart of ‘1066 Country’ between historic Battle and picturesque Rye in East Sussex. Our trading name changed accordingly, but our business remains the same.

Sargents of Sussex is run by Damon Sargent. A lifelong enthusiast, motor cars were instilled in his blood from a long family background of motor and mechanical engineers. Now in it's thirty second year the business continues to run with an enthusiasm and integrity that is higher than ever, with according specialist knowledge of the stock. We pride ourselves on a 'traditional values' approach to our customers and will always make every effort to resolve any issues, should they arise. Indeed, we value repeat business very highly and are delighted to say that many customers return because they have determined to buy only from us.

Throughout our trading years we have endeavoured to source vehicles of a more interesting nature and we have sold numerous Ferrari, Porsche and AMG Mercedes, BMW M3/M5, Lotus Elise, Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Evolution. Many more ‘niche’ market vehicles have also passed through our hands, Noble and TVR for example, and many older classics in addition to some true modern motoring icons including the Lotus Carlton and UR Audi Quattro Turbo.

Our core business now concentrates on motorcycle sales and we have sold numerous bikes from Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha, to name but a few. Our key market is sports bikes, but we have a significant interest in stocking the ever more popular 'naked street bikes' as well as mainstream sports tourers and commuters, and the more niche market supermoto and enduros, as well as the odd classic. Against any of our sales bikes, we welcome cars or other bikes in part exchange against them. As ever, our long term partners at Meridian Finance can offer all manner of lending solutions against these machines.

The Sargent family have been involved in the motor trade for a great many years now. The great grandfather of Damon Sargent, Henry James Sargent, began trading, in East Grinstead, in the early 1920's and built a successful business, Sargents of East Grinstead Ltd., which remained for 60 years until finally closed in the early 1980's. We are proud to follow in the family tradition.

Based in East Sussex between Battle and Rye, we are surprisingly accessible being just 5 minutes from the A21, and a little under 1 hour south of M25 Junction 5 for customers travelling from the motorway network.
