Description
Lovely example of a late 80’s Raleigh Record Sprint racing bike with the ‘Aerospace’ aero profile frame tubes, very distinctive back in the day with its gold parts and still pretty cool today. I had one of these as a kid, maybe you did? This is pretty original but with a few upgrades and modern wheels. Large 23.5inch/60cm Reynolds 501 chromoly frameset, 12speed gears with downtube friction shift gears, alloy sidepull caliper brakes, 700c Q/R alloy wheels with shrader valves for those that struggle with the thin presta ones, alloy chainset with new sealed bottom bracket, pedals with clips and straps, vintage style riveted saddle with alloy micro adjust seat post. Very good condition for a near 40year old bike, fully serviced with new cables, bar tape, etc. Collection available from Barry or Pontcanna.
