Job Title: Salon Manager

Location: Wrexham

Salary: £26,000 plus

Job Type: 35-40 hours per week (Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)

Role Purpose

The Salon Manager oversees all day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, salon performance, staff management, and compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, motivating the team, and maintaining a welcoming, safe, and profitable salon environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily running of the salon, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Oversee customer service standards and ensure all clients receive an excellent experience.

Achieve and exceed salon sales and service targets (e.g., tanning packages, product sales).

Monitor and manage salon budgets, expenses, and profitability.

Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.

Lead, motivate, and supervise Sales Assistants and Support Assistants.

Create staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews for team members.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and probation management for new staff.

Handle disciplinary and grievance issues in line with company policies.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation, including tanning regulations, hygiene, and safeguarding.

Conduct regular risk assessments and safety checks.

Ensure age verification and Challenge 25 policy is strictly enforced.

Maintain accurate records (staff training, customer incidents, equipment maintenance).

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and local outreach to drive new business.

Maintain high standards of presentation in the salon (cleanliness, displays, signage).

Build customer loyalty through excellent service and membership schemes.Pay & Benefits
