Store Supervisor

The business operates 7 days a week to provide maximum convenience for our customers. A Supervisor must be able to complete the following duties competently:

Promote the company and its products.

Banking and keyholding.

Running the store in the absence of a manager.

Training team on standards of customer service, merchandising, stock control, housekeeping, reductions and complaints.

Playing an integral role in recruiting, inducting and training new staff.

Motivate, guide and mentor team.

To acknowledge and provide good customer service to all customers.

Aim to increase sales by interacting with customers and introducing add-on sales by suggesting additions and alternatives. Training team to do so.

Stock control - keeping abreast of when stock is needed, dealing with any stock issues directly with concessions, reporting any issues to management. Processing deliveries.

Merchandising - creating pleasing displays with merchandise.

Housekeeping duties - ensuring the store is well presented at all times.

Cash handling & till operation.

Minimising stock loss through good customer service standards.

Completing reductions and implementing sales.

Managing a team and team working.

Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations.

Please note that this role will include some weekend hours and flexibility would be advantageous.
