Leicester Permanent 48,000 – 61,000 DOE 5 days on site (non–negotiable)

Gleeson have partnered with a large, complex organisation in Leicester to find their new Senior Commercial Finance Analyst.

This is a high–profile role with real scope to put your mark on the way cashflow and commercial finance are managed, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based full time on site (5 days per week) in Leicester. Please only consider applying if you live locally and are able to honour this.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst:

Own and develop cashflow forecasting and financial modelling across multiple areas of a large, complex organisationLead weekly cashflow reviews, explaining movements and key driversBuild scenario analysis and support twice–yearly cashflow budgeting processPartner with Commercial, Operations, Warehouse, Payroll and TreasuryForecast the impact of stock, Capex, balance sheet and intercompany movementsProduce complex reconciliations and insightful analysisPresent findings and recommendations to senior stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve processes and reportingManagement of one direct report and two international reportsWhat we're looking for

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Strong technical finance and analytical skillsProven experience in cashflow forecasting and modellingExcellent Excel skills and confidence working with large datasetsStrong commercial mindset with the ability to challenge and influenceComfortable presenting financial information to senior stakeholdersExpeirenceExperience with a large ERP systems essentialThis is not a traditional number–crunching role! We're looking for someone commercially minded who can understand the story behind the numbers and communicate it confidently.
