Description
Redline has been retained by a leading process instrumentation designer & manufacturer who are looking for a Procurement Lead – Electronics to join their team based in Surrey.
This role is a specialist procurement position focused on managing electronic and electrical components, ensuring suppliers deliver on cost, quality, and delivery in a regulated manufacturing environment.
This is a hands–on supplier management and sourcing role, supporting both new product introduction (NPI) and ongoing production.
Key responsibilities for Procurement Lead – Electronics – Surrey:
Own supplier selection, negotiation, and contract award for electronic commoditiesSupport RFQs by providing pricing and lead times to SalesEnsure suppliers meet all technical, regulatory, and commercial requirementsManage supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery) and drive improvementsResolve supply chain issues (quality, delays, etc.) With internal teams and suppliersSupport ongoing purchasing and supply continuityEnsure compliance with ISO9001 and company standards
Experience required for Procurement Lead – Electronics – Surrey:
Experience sourcing electronic/electrical components in a regulated industryStrong supplier management, negotiation, and problem–solving skillsAbility to understand technical requirements and communicate them to suppliersConfident stakeholder management across engineering, production, and suppliersMCIPS qualified would be ideal
