Part-Time Assistant Designer / Merchandiser

Location: Manchester

Hours: Part-time- 4 hours x 5 days or 7.5 hours x 3 days

A fantastic opportunity to join a respected fashion supplier in a part-time role combining both design and merchandising. Ideal for someone looking to grow their industry experience while working within a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Support the design process with CADs, tech packs, trend research and presentations

Liaise with suppliers and buyers to ensure accurate product development

Attend fit sessions and prepare fit comments

Assist with fabric/trim selection and sample management

Monitor the critical path and track production progress

Raise purchase orders and support general admin tasks (e.g., parcels, filing)

Requirements:

Strong interest in fashion, design, and product development

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Good attention to detail and ability to multitask

Confident using basic xjnqpsq design software and Microsoft Office
