Finance Assistant
Job Overview
We're looking for a detail-focused Finance Assistant to join our team based at our Support Centre in Wakefield. In this role, you'll play an important part in helping us manage the finance administration for our property portfolio, making sure lease information, contract details and payment data are accurate and processed on time.
Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager and working closely with the Property team, you'll support the smooth running of our property finance processes day to day. This will include maintaining lease data, processing new or updated lease contracts, helping with reconciliations, supporting invoice payments and assisting with month-end activities. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and wants to build their experience in a supportive finance environment.
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Wakefield Support Centre.
What we're looking for
Strong numerical skills, with confidence working with data and spotting detail.
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to completing tasks accurately.
Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities calmly and effectively.
Previous experience in a finance, transactional, administrative or data-focused role would be helpful, but is not essential. xjnqpsq
Experience using SAP S/4HANA would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. #priorityindeednr
