Gi Group is recruiting a Butcher for a new client in Gainsborough. This is a great opportunity for an experienced butcher looking for 25–30 hours per week, with potential to go permanent.

Butcher – Key Responsibilities

As a Butcher, your role will include:

Preparing and cutting meat to a high standard (boning, trimming, slicing as required)Producing customer–ready cuts and supporting counter/display preparation (where applicable)Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness at all timesFollowing HACCP and company processes to ensure full complianceUsing knives and equipment safely and correctlyWorking as part of the team to meet daily production/quality targetsButcher – Requirements

To succeed in this Butcher role, you should have:

Previous experience as a butcher (shop or production environment)Confident knife skills and knowledge of meat preparationStrong understanding of food hygiene and safe working practicesReliability, punctuality, and a team–focused attitudeApply for this Butcher role
