A real Garage find of a Long term stalled Streetfighter build, ideal spares, project, it is what it is folks.
Previous owner from 1996 till now, bikes was/is a Honda VF1000Ff used as his daily Autboahn bike in Germany. Put off the road in 2000 due to yet another blown motor (usual chocolate cams in early VF’s). He then in 2001, after a front ender on his VF1000R, fitted the superior engine from that bike into this frame and, being an Engineer, proceed to convert the rear/monoshock design to his own spec. The bike also has the longer Honda Magna VF1100 front forks.
He got a custom seat made for £250.00 then went to John (Spondon) Williams (at The Tank Shop in Dumfries) and paid £600.00 for a custom hand made alloy tank for the bike – cost now would be in excess of double that! Then proceeded to do…nothing – for the next 23 years!
What you see in the pics is what you get, nothing more, nothing less.
Current V5c here in my name.
The price is firm!
