Salary: 28,000- 35,000 + excellent commission

We're looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing engineering recruitment business. Whether you have previous recruitment experience or are looking to take your first step into the industry, we're more interested in your attitude, ambition and willingness to learn. You'll be working within the engineering recruitment sector, helping businesses find highly skilled engineering professionals while developing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll receive full training and support while developing the skills needed to become a successful recruitment consultant.

Building strong relationships with candidatesSourcing and engaging with candidates through various channelsConducting candidate interviews and understanding their career goalsManaging the recruitment process from initial conversation through to placementAdvertising vacancies and proactively searching for suitable candidatesNegotiating salaries, fees and offersMaintaining accurate candidate and client recordsDeveloping your knowledge of different recruitment marketWorking towards individual and team sales targets

You'll ideally have:

A strong work ethic and desire to build a careerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence speaking to people on the phone and face-to-faceThe ability to build rapport and develop relationshipsResilience and the determination to keep going when things don't go your wayGood organisation and time-management skillsFresh graduates looking for first step in industry / experience in sales, customer service, business development, account management would be beneficial but is not essential.
