Our client is a well established, successful FMCG business based in High Wycombe, looking to appoint a standalone HR Manager to take ownership of the people function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in an SME environment and wants the chance to build, shape and develop HR within a growing organisation.

Reporting directly into the leadership team, the HR Manager will play a key role in supporting the business, its managers and employees, whilst helping to nurture a positive, high-performing culture.

With most employees based at Head Office, alongside a smaller warehouse, distribution and field-based team, the HR Manager will have exposure across the entire business.

As the company continues to grow, there is genuine potential for this role to evolve and expand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a stand alone HR Manager, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle and associated day-to-day HR activities and administration, including:

Managing recruitment, onboarding and employee development Providing HR advice and support to managers and colleagues alike Handling employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management Updating, developing and implementing new HR policies and processes Ensuring compliance with UK and EU employment legislation Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives Managing appraisal and performance review processes Coordinating learning and development activities and associated training as the need arises. Producing HR reports and people data for senior management Working closely with payroll and finance teams ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for an HR professional who can work autonomously, build strong relationships and confidently manage both operational and strategic HR responsibilities.
