Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our valued client, a well-established and reputable firm of solicitors based in Lincoln, who are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their professional and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional services environment and is confident providing pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice across a broad range of people matters.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service to managers and employees across the business. You will provide guidance on employee relations matters, support recruitment and onboarding activities, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance managementSupport managers through formal HR processes and attend meetings as requiredAssist with recruitment campaigns, onboarding and induction processesMaintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentationEnsure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with current employment legislationSupport the review and development of HR policies and proceduresContribute to employee engagement and wellbeing initiativesProduce HR reports and support general HR administration activities

Essential:

Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR roleStrong working knowledge of UK employment lawExperience managing employee relations casesExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionCIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience

Desirable:

Experience working within a legal, professional services or regulated environmentExperience supporting compliance or audit processesFamiliarity with HR systems and reporting
