Prospectus is advising a well-established, financially strong and ambitious national organisation in the search for an HR Director to lead the next phase of its People agenda.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, commercially astute and forward-thinking HR leader to build on an established People function, strengthening its impact, effectiveness and contribution to organisational success.

The HR Director will lead the development and delivery of an ambitious People Strategy, with a particular focus on organisational capability, workforce planning, culture, leadership development and employee experience. The role will also drive improvements in HR systems, technology, data and operational efficiency, ensuring the function is a proactive and influential strategic partner to the wider organisation.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

Significant senior HR leadership experience, with a track record of developing and delivering effective people strategies. Experience of leading organisational change, strengthening culture and building leadership and workforce capability. Strong professional HR expertise, including employee relations, governance, reward and people risk. Experience of improving HR functions, including through technology, systems, data and more effective service delivery. The strategic judgement, commercial awareness and influencing skills to operate credibly with senior executives. We are open to candidates from a range of sectors, including those looking to take their first step into an HR Director position. Above all, we are seeking an ambitious, collaborative and resilient leader who combines strategic thinking with the energy and determination to deliver meaningful change.
