HR Advisor Gloucestershire – on site Full Time, 12 months FTC Manufacturing up to 50,000 per annum

Gleeson Recruitment Group is pleased to be supporting a highly respected global engineering and manufacturing organisation with the appointment of an experienced ER/HR Advisor on a 12–month fixed–term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional to join a collaborative site–based HR team, providing trusted advice to managers and supporting a broad range of employee relations activity.

The Role

Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will provide pragmatic and commercially focused HR advice across the site, with a particular emphasis on employee relations, manager coaching and developing leadership capability.

You will be responsible for:

Providing advice and guidance to managers across disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and flexible working matters.Managing and supporting complex ER cases, including investigations, documentation and advice throughout the process.Coaching managers to ensure ER matters are handled consistently, fairly and in line with employment legislation and company policy.Using ER data and feedback to identify trends, root causes and opportunities for improvement.Supporting the HR Business Partner with manager development, coaching and HR workshops.Advising on employee engagement and communications initiatives.Contributing to continuous improvement projects across HR processes and practices.About You

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is confident operating in a fast–paced, operational environment and has strong hands–on employee relations experience.

You will ideally have:

At least 3 years' generalist HR experience with strong ER exposure.Experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases.A solid understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.Strong experience coaching and advising managers.The ability to balance commercial considerations with appropriate HR and legal guidance.Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.A proactive, approachable and collaborative style.CIPD Level 5 or above and/or a relevant degree is desirable.Previous experience within a manufacturing or similarly operational environment would be advantageous.Flexibility to support varied shift patterns where required.
