About the Company

We are seeking a proactive and professional HR Advisor to deliver high quality generalist HR support to our client. This role is key to ensuring HR practices align with company values, promote an inclusive workplace, and remain compliant with UK employment legislation. You will work closely with managers and employees, acting as a trusted advisor and providing practical, consistent, and commercially sound HR guidance.

Start Date ASAP

Working Hours Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, fully onsite

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations

Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, and performance mattersManage and monitor all absence cases, including sickness and leaveAnalyse absence trends and support attendance management initiativesCoordinate occupational health referralsEnsure consistent application of HR policies and proceduresManage offboarding processes, including exit interviewsRecruitment & Onboarding

Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including campaigns and selection processesAdvise managers on hiring approaches and interview techniquesReview and update job descriptionsCoordinate interviews and manage offersDeliver effective onboarding and induction processesTrack recruitment metrics such as retention, time to hire, and cost per hireHR Operations

Maintain accurate employee records within HR systemsMonitor and report on HR metrics (turnover, retention, mobility)Analyse HR data to identify trends and support improvement plansManage HR trackers and documentationSupport benefits administration with Payroll and providersAssist with employee engagement initiatives (newsletters, surveys, recognition schemes)Learning & Development

Identify training needs and coordinate development activitiesSupport delivery of management training workshopsAssist managers with development plans and reviewsPolicy & Compliance

Review and update HR policies in line with legislationEnsure employee awareness and policy complianceMonitor policy acknowledgement rates against KPIsIdentify compliance risks and recommend improvementsPromote a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplaceQualifications & ExperienceCIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or equivalent experienceProven generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceExcellent interpersonal skills with a proactive and solution-focused approachIf you are interested, please apply below or contact Angus on or
