Description
For sale, a Tascam 244 Cassette Portastudio in excellent condition and full working order.
This machine has just had a full service including;
all belt drives replaced with Tascam parts
pinch roller and bearings replaced
all heads cleaned and demagnetized
all VU meters fully functional and illuminated
4 track analog recording on standard audio cassettes
Tape speed 3 3/4 inches per second for improved fidelity and reduced noise
Pitch control for +/- 15% variation of tape speed
Digital tape counter with zero return function
DBX Noise Reduction
Twin headphone sockets
4 mic / line inputs on jack sockets
Punch in/out via foot switch jack socket (requires standard non-latching foot switch, not included)
Insert points for external processing via phono sockets on rear
Original, very detailed user manual included
This is a very solidly built unit, and weighs 8kg hence I will only ship within the UK.
