Description
Stunning Hopf Praetorius Renaissance tenor recorder with fontanelle. This Praetorius model is based on drawings taken from 'Syntagma Musicum' (1618) by Michael Praetorius.
Sounds superb, easily plays two octaves using baroque fingering and has a great tone. This hasn’t been used much at all. The Fontanelle is easy to remove and the key is in excellent condition. Made of stained maple.
Renaissance tenors with fontanelle are harder to come by at a reasonable price and this one represents excellent value for money. New these can cost in excess of £1200.
Comes with original box.
