Dolmetsch Soprano Recorder.
Stunning and rare Dolmetsch soprano recorder in grenadilla at standard baroque pitch (A=415). Beautifully hand crafted and voiced probably by member of the Dolmetsch family, based on the model after Stanesby junior. Serial number 19668 which suggests it was handmade in 1974. In lovely condition comes with a smart canvas burgundy case. Dolmetsch recorders were renowned for their high quality craftsmanship and open clean sound and are becoming popular among collectors. This is a must have for the serious recorder player’s collection.
