Description
Linn Axis turntable.
No tonearm. No original lid but an old tinted LP12 lid is included to get you going. The LP12 and Axis lid are the same and a good Linn Axis lid badge is included so you can buy a used LP12 lid and fit the correct badge.
Turntable chassis and top-plate are immaculate, virtually unmarked. Platter is perfect too, no marks on it, bright and clean. Bearing is perfect. No wear on the tip and tight in the bearing liners. PSU does work but feels weak and I think the capacitors are needing replaced. Belt included. Mat included but it is shrunk a bit.
Note that in the photographs the top-plate is not fixed to the chassis. The top plate needs to be removed to fit an arm so there is little point in refitting it as you'll only have to take it off again.
Overall a very cheap and good condition Axis.
