HMV Stereomaster 2330 Radiogram
I’m selling this on behalf of a friend. His dad received this as a retirement gift in 1963. He inherited it in 1987 when his father died and it’s been barely used since then.
I’ve replaced the round pin plug and had a quick check to see if it works. It powers up fine and the turntable works, though I imagine it could do with a service to make sure it runs smooth and there’s no seizing.
I couldn’t get any sound out of the internal speakers. There’s no manual, so it’s possible there’s something I haven’t selected properly, but it may need someone to look at the internals to see if capacitors or other components need updating.
In short, this needs some attention to get it back to full working order. From a bit of research, there are several videos on youtube on how to service this exact model, so it could be a nice project.
