Description
The Bang & Olufsen BEOGRAM 1000 Complete Set. I was going to let the AI thing do the description but my late father would turn in his grave. so here I go! the history of this system is unique, my father was given this new in 1968, the year I was born by B&O as a gift for the birth of ,,well me! at the time my dad was a Director at Dixons, that later after several name changes ended up as PC World, at which point my Dad had been well retired. So my father passed away an avid Jaz fan and along with his insane record collection I was given this B&O set. I know very little about it, I've looked around and honesty it's all a hit confusing, but none the less this needs to be used, not stored forever and left to rot. around a year ago I put it all together and it sounded great. however the stylus did break, I think it was just very brittle. I've looked around and they don't seem hard to find, even brand new versions. so that aside it needs to go along with all the other trainers etc I've started to list as I'm moving to France in order to help my only daughter raise the twin boys she has recently had. if you ask alot of questions I probably won't no the answers, or have time to research them and answer acordingly. all the photos I've attached should if you know what your looking at be enough info, all the original wiring diagrams are also included. obviously after going on 60 years the box's have old tape and wear marks, there is a small crack in the deck cover, shown in the photos! so good luck, I'll help where I can, I would advise collection in person would be appropriate. Also I have absolutely no idea of its worth, if it even has one.. I have to put a price on the add but just contact me if interested
