Description

As a qualified cognitive hypnotherapist with specialised trauma training, I am dedicated to enhancing mental and emotional wellbeing. I provide tailored therapy and coaching for adults and young people. My mission is to free people from frustration, anxiety, and overwhelm, helping individuals gain greater control of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours to live a more conscious and fulfilling life.

Using a range of techniques I can help with a variety of problems including, anxiety, depression, trauma, unwanted habits, limiting beliefs, fears/phobias and many others.

I believe that every person is unique and their suffering is also unique to them. My approach is to treat the person, not the label given to the problem.

Cara has been great help, after searching for a therapist and trying at least 5 before her I was happy to finally find one that really gave me what I needed. Cara listens and provides a space of safety to really begin to reorganise the thoughts and gain understanding of yourself at your deepest point. Personalised hypnotherapy recording is an added bonus which I have to go to whenever needed. Thank you Cara!

I highly recommend Cara as a cognative hypnotherapist. Cara is incredibly approachable, compassionate and non-judgemental. She has helped me immeasurably. I had tried other approaches such as CBT and counselling before, which didnt acheive what I needed. I remember when I had my first session, I felt like I was in a dark hole with no hope of feeling good. Cara had said how I would achieve all the goals I had and gain the self confidence and worth I had always desired, I sat there and truly believed that would never happen. I thought there is no way I'll feel all these things she was telling me. Now 6 or so sessions later she was absolutely right. She helped me unpick all the things I was telling myself and opened my perspective on how our brains work. She gave me the light at the end of the tunnel and the tools to take with me for life. Working with Cara was one of the best decisions I have made. If you are struggling with anything, Cara will be able to help you in more ways than you thought you needed.
