Family Home Needed

To whom it may concern,

We are currently applying for numerous properties online to no avail, we have come to the conclusion that it is due to us currently being council tenants. We have been for five years, never missed a rent / utility bill payment and our council tax is paid in full every year.

We are in a position to move onwards and upwards to the right property, we had a baby 18 months ago which is our primary reason for wanting to move somewhere more private with a private garden. We have an extremely well trained Doberman who behaves better than some humans.

We are looking for no less than a 2 bedroom property around the £1k (flexible either way) a month mark, a private garden and preferably a drive for our 2 cars. We are very clean, quiet & keep to ourselves and are simply hunting for that peaceful life. Due to business requirements we will need to stay flexibly in and around the central Fife area.

We are self employed with a successful business, great credit ratings and a bank balance to show affordability.

Unfortunately going through the normal channels with letting agents seems to be getting us nowhere as I believe that there is definitely a prejudice/stigma towards council tenants, rather than assessing on an individual case basis.
