Discounted Double Bedroom in a beautiful modern cottage with private bathroom & underfloor heating

I have discounted it from £900 to £600 for the right person, and might discount it more for a perfect fit. I'll even be happy to cover the bills.

I am looking for someone who can keep the place tidy, especically in my absence, and be able to maintain the gardens when I a not around. I am usually away for a few weeks at a time, and this winter I may not be there at all. So essentially someone who enjoys the outdoors, nature and gardens, and can make use of them, as opposed to letting them turn into a jungle. And someone who can keep the place neat and tidy as their own, especially when I am away.

Most people would expect that from a lodger, but I want someone who genuinely enjoys the nature around them, hence willingness to drop the price for the right person.

About the Cottage (EH35 area):
It a cottage that comes with beautiful gardens and mature trees, with plenty of birds nesting in those, if you are a nature person you will love it.

The cottage has been fully renovated, so you shall have brand new wooden floors, with underfloor heating and your own room thermostat, and a modern private bathroom with rainshower etc.

The room has windows to two gardens so you get the best views of the gardens from this room.

There are a total of 3 rooms, I take the other, and the third is a guest bed or I might take in a lodger.

It will be a professional environment so please doesn’t expect a party house. That doesn’t apply to summer BBQs in the Garden, of course.

There are beautiful half an acre of gardens to the enjoyed, surrounded by 10 acres of mature woodland. The property has private parking, bus stop right outside, bus 113 goes past, maybe a few others as well. The house has just had full renovation so comes with a brand new rooms, bathrooms, kitchen etc. The closest COOP shop is only 10mins walk away. And there are direct buses into Edinburgh.

About You:

Ideally, I am looking for someone who would see it as an opportunity, the excitement of having a garden and a slow paced life, possibly growing some vegetables as a past time, and enjoy the birds in the garden. This would appeal to nature lovers, writers, etc.

I am looking for someone who is tidy and good at domestic stuff. Someone mature (in their 40s or 50s would be preferred but it’s not a prerequisite.

Although single occupany is preffered but if it came to it, couples or a 2nd person shall be additional £250.00
