Description
FOR NHS WORKERS ONLY - SHORT TERM LETS (usually by the week, up to 3 months)
1 bedroom apartment (2 single beds) on the Shore Road in the charming village of Innellan, approx 5 miles from Dunoon in West Scotland. Overlooks the Firth of Clyde from the Cowal Peninsula, an hour and a half West of Glasgow, (or an hour from Prestwick Airport). Dunoon is a 25 minute ferry ride from Gourock.
Compact, light and very comfortable. The bedroom has two single beds pushed together, suitable for 2 friends or a couple. The beach is just over the road with several sandy swimming spots at low tide and there are plenty of walks, lochs and hills nearby. Rent includes bills. Property is licensed.
About the location
Buses into Dunoon are once an hour and the bus-stop is only a few yards away; the ferry connects with Gourock train station, under an hour's ride from Glasgow Central.
The village, a popular holiday resort in Victorian times, is a very relaxing spot with gorgeous views towards the hills of Arran and the islands of the Inner Seas. There`s a community shop and two friendly pubs/restaurants in the village. Real ale, live Scottish folk music and surprisingly very few midges! Dunoon has lots of community facilities, such as a gym, leisure centre and a library, overlooking the sea and the mountains.
