Description
VINTAGE 2003 LEXMARK X85 INKJET COLOR PRINTER 4403-K11 GNZ01 PAPER FEED FAULT
I can ship this for £6.55 Royal Mail 2nd class medium parcel postage and accept payment by PayPal if required.
Good physical condition for age, but paper does not feed through.
This will turn on and the display works, it makes various noises and seems to start up and ready itself, although it does say black ink low on the display. But after putting in some paper and something to scan, then pressing the copy button, either B & W or color, the paper goes in about 5 or 10 cm then progresses no further, while the print head sounds like it is trying to print. Then after a while it stops and says clear paper jam. So it seems the paper feed mechanism is not operating correctly. This has been sat on a shelf for many years unused. The white buffer pad in the scanner lid fell off when I first opened it, it's sticky on the reverse and pushing it firmly back has seen it stay in place for now. It seems this printer model may not have ever been supported in Linux as Lexmark didn't provide a driver for this OS at the time although I didn't research it a lot.
Includes printer unit and power supply with UK mains plug lead, no literature, software or USB cable is included, just what is shown.
