Great wee recording console based on the legendary Trident 80B and designed by Malcom Toft the original designer of the Trident consoles.

This console is the 8 channel version. It has 8 input channels each with a mic pre-amp, phantom power, phase flip trident A-style EQ, an insert point and 6 aux sends. The input channels can also be switched to line inputs and the monitor flip option allows for the monitor return channels to be routed through the line inputs for mixdown which combined with the 8 subgroups makes this a very versatile console when working with a tape machine.

There is a comprehensive routing and monitoring section allowing for 6 aux sends and numerous different outputs.

This desk includes the meter bridge.

I have used this desk for about 5 years, first at my home studio and then at my studio, Knockwood. I've used it on every session and it's performed without issue every time.

The flexibility of the routing and the musical quality of the EQs have been a great asset to me but my workflow has shifted and rising costs have led me to decide to sell it.

It's a fantastic piece of engineering and I'll really regret to see it go.
